People with disability from birth typically finish own education without competencies for work. They have not the access to life-long learning and after graduating from school they are often left to themselves.

In Poland, in particular, it exists a low rate of disabled people with higher education level and the mainstream courses and training offered in Poland often do not meet individual needs and do not create opportunities for practical training in the work place, which, in case of people with disabilities are key importance.

The eFESTO general objective is to deliver learning services for deaf citizens to acquire modern competencies as required by the actual market of jobs. Some of these competencies will be the managing of modern and last generation electrical and electronic instrumentation and more over to learning English language.

eFESTO aims to create a distance learning environment to help deaf learners (students and workers) to acquire more marketable and modern job and roles. The main objective is the inclusion and the employment of deaf citizens in specific job sectors and fields, such as biomedical laboratories, telecommunications, industry and sustainable environment applications giving to the reference target the specific competence for learning how to use application and apparatus of the chosen application field.

The environment, even if focused on deaf learner, can be easily used also by learner with language disabilities and physical disabilities.
